Se utilizzando Veeam Backup ad Replication si riceve l’errore :
Current vSphere license or ESXi version prohibits execution of the requested operation
significa che la nostra licenza EsxI non è valida.
Fate attenzione. Esistono “licenze” e “licenze”. Per effettuare il backup con Veeam occorre una licenza che consenta l’accesso alle API di VMware e la licenza BASE non lo permette. Occorre una licenza Business o Entrprise.
Se abbiamo una licenza in questo modo :
Non è valida per il backup.
Occorre una licenza che, installata, mostri queste funzioni :
Veeam Current vSphere license or ESXi version prohibits execution of the requested operation, Veeam Backup esxi 6.5 Current vSphere license or ESXi version prohibits execution of the requested operation, Veeam backup Esxi 6.7 Current vSphere license or ESXi version prohibits execution of the requested operation
