The registry key for IIS subauthenticator is not configured correctly on local machine
Se si utilizza Windows 2003 server con IIS è possibile riscontrare nel registro eventi :
The registry key for IIS subauthenticator is not configured correctly on local machine, the anonymous password sync feature is disabled.
L’errore del server potrebbe verificarsi se il server è stato aggiornato da Windows 2000 (o una versione precedente di IIS)a IIS6 o successiva.
Se il server è stato aggiornato da W2K / IIS 5 a IIS 6, ci possono essere errori riportati in relazione a componenti IIS che sono stati modificati nell’aggiornamento.
La soluzione è disattivare la funzionalità di sincronizzazione password di autenticazione di IIS subauthenticator .
Questo può essere fatto, da linea di comando, come descritto qui:
c: inetpub adminscripts> adsutil.vbs set w3svc / AnonymousPasswordSync 0
